Priorities

In your daily life …..

What is your ULTIMATE priority

?Who is your ULTIMATE  priority ?

It is OUR CHOICE on where we wish to focus our energy most. What ever our choices are, it is ultimately a free world.

Choose your path correctly and live a path with integrity and dignity.

Avoid dissapointing others who has relied on you, believed in you, trusted you and had hopes on you.

Best to walk a life with a clear conscience than to live a life-time behind a mask of hypocrisy ; as they will ultimately see who YOU truly are !!

Someday, somehow, someone will ask …. shall you be my PRIORITY if I am not yours ?

The kid inside you …

We must never loose that “little boy” inside of us. As we progress through life, we sometimes build a wall, a facade ; to protect ourselves, to represent our position, to demonstrate our capabilities or even to hide insecurities.

Perhaps in  search for happiness , fullfillment ?

But happiness was when we ran barefooted in the soccer field, climbed tress and skinny dipping in a river. I believe most of us missed those days ; and should incorporate moments of our past in to our present  lives.

We do not need to climb trees today but we can still have a bottle of wine and enjoy loud unrestricted laughter with our good old friends of yesteryears.

Listen …..

Listen to learn
Listen to understand
Listen to serve
Listen to solve a problem
Listen before you speak.

You will be more successful in selling if you listen better. Poor listening skills leads to wrong proposition and you will be wasting everyone’s time.

Not every customer is your customer. If you listen well, then you will also know when to walk away or when to keep quiet.

She is Kamala …

She is Kamala …..

The news repeating again and again that “Kamala is the FIRST WOMAN OF COLOR”  to fill the VP chair  and that  “this is a victory for black women” is really sad.

She is Kamala Harris.
Praise her, focus on her credentials and qualities.

Why is there a need to emphasize  so much of her “color”? Isn’t this “encouraging” racial polarization in modern America ?

Just treat her as a well deserving “human being” elected by the people …..regardless of race, gender, religion and color.

Sorry

A mistake made.
A wrong turn taken.

If only you are willing to say sorry, willing to own up, stop being defensive and take sincere actions to correct your fault, life will be less complicated and meaningful relationship will be forged.

Nobody is perfect … and the ability to admit your shortcomings shows dignity and humility.

New-ME

As we forge ahead into the new normal era, we will need to redefine our niche and strengths again.

We will need to adapt, change and re-change many times to achieve a balance on what our new routines should be like.

Our past strengths could be our new weaknesses today. Be prepared to leave some of our “old me” behind.
Create a NEW-ME …..a one that is stronger and compassionate as well as living a life of mutual respect and empathy.
